These kids carry their broken pieces into other places, like the classroom. This ultimately affects their performance and relationship-building skills. These kids eventually grow up to be adults that drag around emotional baggage from their childhood.
Arizona Reach is on a mission to alter this reality. Their volunteers are passionate and professional and can relate to life in the inner-city. By way of their curriculum on campus and earning relational equity in the life of the students and their family, they change lives and homes that were once broken. “MAN UP” was developed to help young men develop into men who will lead strong and love well. Through meetings, social functions, mentorships, and group psychotherapy, these young men have empowered one another through their close-knit network. That is why our agency has teamed up with AZ Reach, an organization that has developed a curriculum for high school teenage boys to teach them about self-love, self-awareness, and respect.
