We often see media and advertisements about women supporting women, it is seldom that we hear of “men supporting men” in the media. But when men empower and encourage one another to strive for success, we have the power to make this world a better and safer place, one man at a time! That is why our agency has teamed up with AZ Reach, an organization that has developed a curriculum for high school teenage boys to teach them about self-love, self-awareness, and respect.
High school teacher, Juan Chavez, developed this program when he realized that most of the troubled boys at the high school came from families without a father figure in the household. These young boys expressed to Mr. Chavez that they lacked the social and emotional skills to deal with their inter and intrapersonal relationships due to the lack of a male role model in their lives.
That is when “MAN UP” was developed to help young men develop into men who will lead strong and love well. Through meetings, social functions, mentorships, and group psychotherapy, these young men have empowered one another through their close-knit network.
